Today was my last Den Meeting as a Cub Scout Den Leader. I am so sad to be leaving Cub Scouts. For someone who was terrified of this calling, I never thought I would be so sad to leave it. And I certainly never thought I would cry. In the end I can honestly say that this has been my favorite calling. There have been some challenges, and (ask Allen) some days in the beginning when I would come home ready to quit. But I have really come to love the boys and their unique personalities. I know they will be awesome leaders someday, and I feel confident that they are in great hands with Kali and Natalie. I know I'll probably have another opportunity to serve in Cub Scouts (especially since I have 2 boys), but I don't know if it will ever be as sweet of an experience as this has been.

Owen is going to miss you so much! You do such a good job as their leader. They all will miss you so much. My family will miss your family very much. Our visting teaching days with our "crews"

I'm glad you enjoyed it. That probably means that you had a good attitude and magnified your calling.
I was so glad to be done with it. I have to admit, it wasn't my favorite calling.
