Hayden turns 4 on Saturday! (Can you believe it? I can't). Since we had family in town over the weekend we decided to celebrate then. I made him a Mario cake. It was my first experience with fondant, so I was nervous about choosing such a difficult design, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. After about 10 hours of work, I had a hard time cutting into it; but it was definitely worth it. I love this little boy to pieces.
Can you tell he likes video games? He got a train set too, but this was the gift he was most excited about. It came from Grandma & Grandpa Wilcox, uncle Curtis & Brandon
.

.I'm already brainstorming for Torrin's cake in October. Any suggestions?

Ummmm, your cake, AMAZING!!! So impressed. I'm still scared of fondant. Can't wait to see what you come up with for the next one.
That cake is awesome! Did you make it yourself? If so, you have got to show me how!!
Angie, that is an incredible cake! I am so impressed by your artistic ability. You should be on Ace of Cakes. It looks SO good. Nice work!
I am super impressed by your cake! I can't let my boys see pictures, cuz then they might get ideas that their mommy will do that!
The cake looks awesome. It is going to be hard to top that one.
Excuse me, that's the most amazing cake I've ever seen!!!!!!!!
Way to go!
Holy Cow! What an awesome cake! I 'made' a train cake for Collin's 4th birthday, yea, it was almost as good as your Mario cake. I plopped a piece of track on the top and put Gordon on the track. I'm a regular Martha Stewart. Good for you. No wonder everyone says, "you're a good girl."
Can I add to the rest of all the comments and say that YOU are amazing. Angie you have so many hidden talents. The cake looks awesome.
