Hayden hurt his leg on the trampoline 2 1/2 weeks ago and I just now took him in to have it checked out. He didn't walk on it for a week, and then when he did he limped. But he kept hurting it easily, and every time I was ready to take him in, he would say he felt better. Well, I finally took him in for an X-Ray. The result is a fractured tibia. I feel like a terrible mom. I can't believe I waited so long. :(
Hayden was the perfect patient today, even though he was exausted and needed a nap. He didn't throw a single tantrum (especially once he knew he wasn't getting any shots), and he was perfectly still for the X-Rays and when they wrapped his leg. This makes me wonder, though, if he will beat his Dad's childhood record for injuries and hospital visits.

How were you supposed to know? You are a great mom.
Poor little guy, what a trooper!
ahhh poor baby!!!
Wow, that's a BIG cast for a little guy! What a trooper!
that is a big cast! It took me a few days to take a kid with a broken wrist to the doctor. It's hard to tell unless their bone is protruding grotesquely out where it shouldn't.
Ouch! Don't worry they usually wait to cast anyway. He must be a tough kiddo!
Hang in there Hayden. Great color choice, I like that red.
little boys are so tolerant of pain it seems, so you'd never have known... don't feel bad. hope he feels better soon!
Poor guy. Has it slowed him down any?
i did the exact same thing with Hailee and she kept telling me it was broke and i was like you are fine, she is my drama queen and sure enough broke!!! hope he feels better, no fun being in a cast!!
