I should have been smart enough to know this, but I just wasn't thinking. The other night after the ham had been in the oven for a while, I realized I didn't add water like I usually do. So, I took it out of the oven, turned on the water, and put the glass pan (with the ham in it) under the running water. Not a very bright idea I figured out, as the pan shattered between my fingers. Luckily, no one was hurt, but I was pretty sad over losing the ham and my best pan.

Wow, that must have got your adreniline going! And your best pan. I would hate that. I can't believe you took it out of the oven and walked it all the way over to the sink. I mean, that's the hard way- hams are heavy! Next time do it the easy way.
Oops, that isn't good at all. I'm glad nobody was hurt.
